The Tokina AT-X 100mm f2.8 Macro has been designed with the D-SLR camera in mind.
The lens has coatings designed to complement the CMOS & CCD sensors used in D-SLR cameras by reducing, glare, reflection and ghosting.
The lens features Tokina's One Touch Focus Clutch mechanism for easy switching between Auto and Manual Focus. There is also a focus limiter on the lens to stop the lens focusing at its closest points making it an ideal short telephoto lens.
The lens not only fits the current D-SLR cameras, but can be used with 35mm SLR cameras as well, making this lens highly versatile.
The 55mm front element is non rotating, this allows accessories such as ring flash units to be mounted.
